Last Saturday, Alvin and I had a night out with some great friends. It has been a long time, since we all got together, without the kids. The occasion was to celebrate Lindsey Healy's 30th birthday a little early (she turns 30 on Mar. 27). Emily, Adam, April, and Thad met at our house and we all went to Louisville together. We met everyone else at RiRa's Irish Pub to eat, and then went to 4th Street Live afterwards. We went to Howl and the Moon first, and then the PBR Cowboy Bar. We spent the rest of the night there drinking and dancing. It was a blast hanging out with most of the old gang from our Hill Haven days! We all agreed that we definitely need to do it again sometime.
While we were at Louisville, Owen, Avari, and Easton hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Schum. Of course they had fun, and weren't worried about us at all. : ) Since my parents knew it was going to be a late night, they took the kids to our house and put them to bed later in the evening. We ended up getting home around 2:00 am, but since time changed that night, it went to 3:00 am. Dad said that was the first time he's ever seen the time change. Haha
The only person that gave me the third degree about being out late, was Avari. The first thing out of her mouth Sunday morning was "What took you so long to get home mom??" Haha
After we got everyone up and dressed, we went to Ponderosa with my parents. After we got home, I went to Brooke's house for her 31 party. Easton took and nap, and Owen and Avari enjoyed some daddy time. After the party, I ran to Walmart, and picked up a pizza on the way home.
