We headed down to Lincoln as soon as the kids left on Friday, and spent the evening hanging out around the campsites. The kids had fun riding their bikes, and playing all kind of different things with Gavin and Ethan.
We hung out around the campsite until mid-afternoon. Then we headed home to get everything we needed for Owen's birthday party. We had his party at the Spring Shelter, which is close to the Ampitheatre. It is really nice back there. There is a play set and a bunch of space to run around and play. We were very glad that it was a beautiful day, since we didn't have a back-up plan if it would have been cold and/or rainy. :-) We were also very happy that we had some surprise guests. This year, we decided to just invite immediate family, and the Healys, the Joneses, and the Werners, since Jillian, Gavin and Aden are close in age to Owen, and really the only ones that he plays with lately. Brooke and Lily, and Barbara, Aubrey, and Kaden decided to come visit us this time, so I told them they were more than welcome to come to the party. I was glad that they did because we had a ton of food, and it was great to see them all! Owen had a great time at his party, and hopefully everyone else did too.
Once it got dark, we headed back to our campsite. The Schipps, Healys, and K. Boeglins, came back to visit for a little while. After they all left, the kids fell asleep, and us adults sat around the campfire chatting.
Sunday morning, the kids rode their bikes, and the adults walked to the park by the beach. The kids played there for a little while, before we headed back to the campsite. We just hung out at our campsite until mid-afternoon. Then we hooked up and headed home to unpack, and wash dishes from the party, and clothes.
It was a great weekend, and we can't wait to go camping again.
Enjoy the pictures. :-)

Avari wanted a turn.
Easton decided he wanted to hold it too.
I honestly can't believe that he did it!
Easton LOVES riding his Harley trike.
Owen was really surprised by the present he got from Grandma and Grandpa Schum.
He always wants to go along with my dad to Sander's Processing. I guess the last time they went, Owen said that he wanted some sausage links, so they gave him some. : -)

DOUBLE TROUBLE!!!
The string to our bucket light kept Ethan and Easton entertained for quite awhile. What's really surprising, is that they didn't cause any trouble, while playing with it! Haha
