Toyota Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, Toyota had their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival for all the employees.  Our plan was to make it for the egg hunt, but that didn't happen.  Alvin thought he remembered how to get there from the last time we went....he didn't.  After driving around the area for a little while, he finally stopped and asked for directions.  After that, we found it pretty easily...unfortunately, it was way past all the Easter egg hunts.  That's okay though, the kids didn't really care about the egg hunts because they had already done it several times over Easter.  They were more excited about being able to ride the carnival rides, and play the games.  Plus, we found it that it poured down rain right before the egg hunts were to start, and everybody had to run for cover...REALLY glad we missed that! : - )
Alvin, Avari, and Owen going down the big slide.
Owen and Avari love this ride!
Owen and Avari had so much fun spinning around.  They rode it several times in a row.
Easton was a little to small for the rides, but he still enjoyed watching Owen and Avari go on them.

We planned on going to my aunt Deb and uncle Joe's house after the Toyota thing for their Spring Flower party, but we stayed there later than we had planned, and the kids were worn out, and fell asleep right after we left.  We just decided to stop by Denny's in Dale and then head home.  We are sorry that we missed the party, but thought that would be better then going and dealing with tired and fussy kids : )

Sunday, we went to church, and Owen and Avari went to their last Sunday school class for the year.  I don't know if other parents thought it was already over or what, but Owen and Avari were the only to kids in the class.  Needless to say, they liked the extra attention they got from the teachers. ; - )  They really enjoyed Sunday school and seemed to get a lot out of it.  I know they are going to miss going every Sunday.  After church we went to Mike and Matt's Country Buffet with my parents.  Then mom, Avari, and I ran to Walmart, while dad, Alvin, Owen, and Easton went home.  After Walmart, we spent the rest of the day/evening at home, enjoying the nice weather.

Avari taking her turn.
Have I mention how much we LOVE our concrete driveway!?!?
Little Easton : )
We the our time outside by going for a walk/bike ride/stroller ride.

Since the Schipps are in Florida this week, I didn't have any kids from 8:15-4:15 on Tuesday.  Gavin and Alec are at school during the time, and Carter and Mason don't come on Tuesdays and Fridays because Owen and Adi have preschool, and I can't fit them all in my Trailblazer, when it comes time to pick them up.  Since I didn't have any other kids, and Easton was taking a nap, I was able to take some pictures of Owen and Avari playing with play-doh.
Avari showing off the purple face she made.
Owen showing off all the food he make.  I know there were cookies, fruit, a hot dog, french fries, chips and cheese, and peas, but can't remember if there was more.

Wednesday, Darryl was planting corn in my dad's field.  Owen wanted to watch him, but also wanted to draw/color....so what did he do??  He took his paper and crayons outside!  : - )  It was cute, he would move from the front yard to the back yard, depending on where Darryl was.
Of course, it didn't take long, and Avari had to join Owen. : )
