I hope that everyone had a great Easter weekend!
Tuesday, Owen had an Easter egg hunt at preschool. They got to bring their Easter baskets, and each kid found 8 eggs. After the hunt, they could each he one piece of candy.
Thursday afternoon, I had an Easter egg hunt for the babysitting kids. They each got to find 3 eggs, and seemed to have fun. It was Easton's very first egg hunt, but he preferred the rocks over the eggs...until I gave him one the made a noise because it had money in it! :)

Friday, I had the day off because it was Good Friday, and also because the area schools didn't have to use it as a snow make-up day this year! Emily and I went to a few yard sales at the Ireland town-wide yardsales. We most not have hit the good spots early enough though because we didn't really find anything. When I got home, Alvin and the kids and I went to Kevin and Kristin's land. Alvin helped Kevin fix some fencing and posts while Kristin and I watched the kids. After the guys were down working on the fence for the day, they gave the kids a trailer ride, which is always a big hit with them!
Saturday afternoon, we went to my parents' house for Easter. The kids were really excited to be able to hunt for more Easter eggs. The Easter Bunny must have hid them well too because a few hours after the hunting was over, Owen found two more eggs hidden in the yard! : )

Give Easton an egg the rattles, and he is perfectly happy watching everyone else hunt for eggs. : )

Avari insisted on giving Kenley the yellow egg!
In her words..."I'm going to give Kenley the yellow egg because it's her favorite color."
Proof that Avari can be sweet, if she wants to be. ; )
The Bunny even hid them up high.
Apparently, Avari thought it was easier to let her basket set, and bring her eggs to it. That's why she is carrying two eggs, and no basket.
Easton deciding to find some eggs...
...or maybe he will just practice walking! : )

Happy Easter!
Sunday morning, our plan was to go to 8:30 mass, then come home, hunt for eggs, and get things ready for Easter at Alvin's parents' house. Apparently, the kids had different plans....
Avari woke up saying that her belly hurt really bad (result of SNEAKING way too much sugar the day before!)! She laid on the couch while Alvin and I got the boys ready. Well, when Alvin started changing Easton, he noticed that Easton had pooped out of his diaper. Unfortunately, he didn't notice it until after he laid him on our bed. That meant, Alvin gave Easton a bath, while I clean off our comforter, and threw it in the washer. After the boys were finally dressed, we attempted Avari. Well, that's when she decided to throw up on the living room floor (luckily, she still had her PJs on, so her dress was saved). So, now Alvin gave Avari a bath, while I cleaned up the living room floor. Needless to say, we know 8:30 mass was out of the question, but on a plus side, Avari felt better. So, instead, we got things down before church, and were able to make it to 10:30 mass. Luckily, the Easter Bunny was still sneaky enough to come while we were home, and the rest of our day was a lot less eventful! : )
After church, we went to Alvin's parents' house for Easter. Once again, the kids couldn't wait to hunt for Easter eggs!
All dressed up, and finally ready to go!
Who needs to find eggs, when there are rocks right here?!?
Easton with his Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy chair, and Penguin toy from mommy and daddy.
Owen got a Super Hero Squad chair, a new bike helmet, and "The Joker" to go with his Bat Cave from us.
Avari got a Princess chair, a Princess tea set, and a baseball glove from us.
The Easter Bunny brought Owen and Avari big bouncy balls (Spider-man and Tinkerbell), and kites (Green Latern and Barbie). He brought Easton a big bouncy ball and a sippy cup. They all got the movies Hop and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.
Once again, 1 egg that rattles is all he needs! : )
Even Bryce "found" a few eggs! ; )
Lance, Owen, and Avari hunting for Easter eggs.
Owen, Kaden, and Kennedy hunting for Easter eggs.
Checking to make sure they found them all.

Sunday evening we went back to my parents' house to celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary, which happened to fall on Easter this year. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD!!
