11 Months Old

I'M 11 MONTHS OLD!!!

I really can't believe that Avari turned 11 months old on Tuesday!  It hard to believe that we are planning her 1st birthday party already!  She is learning new things everyday.  This past month she has started trying to feed herself with a spoon.  She has also started taking a few steps on her own, and is climbing onto, and into everything (as you can see from the picture). :)  She still likes to dance, and now anytime she hears music, she will stop what she is doing and dance, which mainly consists of her waving her hand and twisting. :)  Apparently her favorite song is Beyonce's "Single Ladies" because when someone starts singing it, and gets to the chorus (where she sings Oh, oh, oh...) she will sing too.  It's so cute.  She still loves books, and now likes to climb into the book basket and read them (again, as you can see from the picture).  She can be entertained for quite awhile with books.  It is now becoming a lot harder for Owen and Addison to take toys from her.  Before, if they wanted something, thet would take it from her, and she wouldn't care.  Now,if they even try, she will pull back on the toy, hold on tight, and fuss.  Also, if they pick on her, she now picks right back.  She definitely isn't going to take any crap from the two of them.:)  She likes to jabber too.  Sometimes it even sounds like words.  Her new favorite word seems to be Bob(or that's what it sounds like).  I don't know where she picked that up from because we don't know any Bobs. :)  At times it also sounds like she tries to say des(yes), dat(that), done, and ba(ball).  It is now impossible to eat around her, without having a little begger at your feet, even if she just got done eating.  She definitely likes to eat, and so far has eaten anything that we have given her.  I took her in for a weight check on Wednesday, and she now weigh 20lb.
