As most of you know, Easton is not much of a people person. He was excited about going to preschool, in the Fall, until he found out that I wouldn't be staying with him. It got to he point where he would say that he didn't want to go to preschool, even when we weren't talking about it. I decided to ask Mrs. Brenda if we could hang out with Avari's class one day. I thought it would help Easton, if he could see what a day of preschool was like. I think it's safe to say that it was a success. By the time school was over, he was saying he wanted to go to preschool. Hopefully, he will feel the same way in the Fall. ; -)
Watching Avari read the story board.
Lining up cars, while the other kids did some school work.
Easton dressed the weather bear, but didn't want participate in anymore, until snack time. : -)
This was a big step for Easton.
He usually doesn't want, or let, anyone but Alvin, my mom, or myself, do anything with him, or for him. The fact that he let Mrs. Brenda take him all the way up to the slide, was a big moment!

They wanted a picture with Easton in it too. : -)

Avari had to add a flower to her square.
After they were down drawing, they made buttons, and paper crowns. They also got their faces painted, temporary tattoos, and Avari got hair chalk in her hair.
Avari got a butterfly.
Owen got a tiger face.

After we left the Chalk Walk, we headed to the Huntingburg Park for my cousin, Robby's, birthday party. We spent the evening playing on the playground, playing volleyball, and walking on the park trail.
Sunday, after church, we went to Chicago's Pizza with my family. That afternoon we went to the park for practice baseball and softball with the Schipps. That evening, we met Forrest (a guy that Alvin worked with on nights) and his wife, Alice at Homestead Pizza. It had been a while since we had seen or talked to them, so it was nice visiting with them again.
