Gorgeous Weekend!

This weekend beautiful weekend to spend outside, and that's exactly what we did!
Saturday morning was spent at the park watching Avari play t-ball. The YMCA was hosting a Healthy Kids day at the park, so after Avari's game, the kids jumped in the bounce house, colored a picture,  and put their names into a box for the chance to win one of prizes they were giving away.
That afternoon, we went to Margie and Steve's house for April's surprise 30th birthday party.  April thought they were going to meet us and the Schipps at a park, so she was a little confused when Thad took her to her parents' house instead...until she saw the decorations.
Alvin had to work during the day, but he came over after he got off of work.

Sunday, we spent the day planting the garden.  We made a trip to Family Roots Nursery to pick out veggies for our garden. The kids had a lot of fun helping decide what to get. They had even more fun planting them.

We got very lucky because we were able to everything planted and put away right before it started storming.
