We didn't make it to Alvin's grandma Betz's house trick-or-treating over the weekend, so we decided to take the kids there on Wednesday night. I think her and Alvin's Uncle Ralph enjoyed our visit. I know we did.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY GAVI!!
Saturday morning Avari had a soccer game. Like the other weeks, she was done playing about half way through. That was until I made her go after the ball, and she scored a goal! She was so excited, and had to run over to my parents to make sure that they saw. : -) She had no problem playing the rest of the time.
Saturday afternoon, we headed to Cedar Crest for Owen's basketball game. The team's coach couldn't make it to the game, so he asked Alvin to coach. Alvin was a little nervous because, as he says, "he's a runner, not a basketball player." He doesn't know very much about basketball, but luckily you don't need to at this age, so he did just fine. Owen played well too. He got a few rebounds, and dribbled the ball down the court a couple of times.
After basketball, we headed to Margie and Steve's house for Sebastian's 1st birthday party. He is Robby and Becca's little boy. He happens to share his Nov. 8th birthday with his cousin, Gavin. He had a vcute tiger themed birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins for the second night in a row.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SEBASTIAN!

We also got him 2 little ties.
Sunday after Sunday school and church, Alvin and the kids went to Grandy's with my parents. We were having a 31 Fundraiser and bake sale for our Relay For Life team, so I couldn't go along. We didn't have a very good turn out, but still managed to raise about $250, and every little bit helps. It was nice hanging out with Emily, April, Brooke, and Barbara for a few hours too. :-)
After the fundraiser, Emily and I grabbed something to eat, and then headed home. The kids filled me in on what they did with daddy. Then we got them ready for bed, and Alvin headed to work. Hopefully, this will be his last time he has to work on a Sunday night for awhile.
