Friday, Oct. 25 and Monday, Oct. 28, were Owen and Avari's Fall Break Days.
On Friday, Owen went trucking with my dad. He loves going along with my dad, and counted down the days. He was given the choice of spending the night at my parents' house, and going along first thing in the morning, or meeting my dad at Wendy's around 10:00am, and then go. Of course, he chose to go first thing in the morning. After my dad found out it was going to be a longer day, he told Owen that Grandma would come get him if he gets too tired. Of course, that didn't happen. He wasn't going to miss out on any trucking time. : -)
On Monday, I just had to watch Lance. Alvin and I decided to let Owen pick what he wanted to eat for lunch. He chose Grandy's so we headed to Huntingburg for lunch. Afterwards, we stopped by the farm, so that Alvin could throw down hay and straw. The kids had fun messing with the cows, and playing with a baby kitten that they found. When we got home, we let the kids carve the pumpkins that they got from Holiday World. Alvin and I helped them clean out the inside. Then, they each drew a face on their pumpkin, and Alvin cut them out.
Easton, Owen, and Avari with their pumpkins.
These two pictures were taken after gymnastics. That's why Avari and Owen aren't in long sleeves and long pants. :-)
They told me I had to take a picture of them making silly faces. :-D
