Owen had a GREAT day of school on Tuesday!
He clipped up to Mr. Begle's tie!! He was super excited about it because he has wanted to do it since school started. He said that it was the best day ever! We are very proud of him and hope that he does it a lot more.
For those that are wondering, why Owen got to clip a clothespin onto Mr, Begle's tie, here is an explanation.
The kindergarteners have a "clip chart". They all start a green ("Ready to start the day"), if they are being good, they clip up. If they get all the way to the top of the chart, and are still being good, they clip onto their teacher's shirt. If they are still doing good, they get to clip onto Mr. Begle's tie, and he wears it there the rest of the day. Owen got his picture taken with Mr. Begle, and he received a gift card to Los Palenques. They can also clip down (3 times) for being bad. Luckily, Owen hasn't ever done that....hopefully it stays that way. In Owen's class, he is only the second kid to clip onto Mr. Begle's tie! Don't ask him what he did that day to clip up that far because he has no idea! Haha

On Wednesday evening, we took the kids trick-or-treating before Alvin had to leave for work. We stopped at my uncle Danny and aunt Mary's house, and then my Great-Aunt Aline's house.
