Happy Birthday Kaden / Soccer

Last Saturday, the kids and I went to my parents' house for awhile in the morning.  The Schipps were also there.  I had brought some food along down, so we made that shortly after I got there.  Alvin came down when he woke up.  Later in the afternoon, the kids and I headed to Barbara and Wes's house for Kaden's 2nd birthday party.  Alvin had to work that night, so he wasn't able to go along.  We had a good time at the party, and the kids really enjoyed playing on Aubrey and Kaden's new play set.
HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY KADEN!!
Easton and Kaden had fun sitting in the chairs, and throwing the balls to anyone that was willing to catch them.

Sunday, Owen started Kiwanis soccer.  He played soccer at the YMCA the last two years, but since he is in Kindergarten this year, we decided to sign him up for the Kiwanis soccer.  He will be playing with the kindergarteners from Ferdinand and Pine Ridge, so we thought it would be a good way for him to meet other kids in his class.  Just like at the Y, parents volunteer to coach (something I will not be doing because you actually have to know something about soccer).  Owen's coach is Mark Dilger, and the are the purple team (something Owen is not to thrilled about...haha).  Addison, Jillian, Lydia, and Madison are also playing Kiwanis soccer, but they all got put on different teams.  They will play every Sunday until Oct. 21.  The first two Sundays are practices, and the rest are games (but they don't keep score).
After practice, we hung out at home for awhile.  While Easton took a nap, Owen rode his 4-wheeler and Alvin took Avari on his 4-wheel.  They eventually ended up at my parents' house, so after Easton woke up, he walked down there too.

Note:  They won't get their shirts until next week.
Easton's 1st 4-wheeler ride!
