On Monday, we let him pick what he wanted for lunch, and for supper. For lunch he wanted pizza, so we ordered pizza from Brick Oven. For supper, he wanted me to make quesadillas, so that he could have papaw's beef vegetable soup (every time I make quesadillas my family comes over, and dad bring soups because he doesn't eat quesadillas), so that's what we did. Then we sang "Happy Birthday", and had Captain America cupcakes.
Saturday morning, Sept. 17, Emily, April, and I went to the Christmas Lake Village yard sales. I found a few things for the kids, but not near as much as Emily and April, who each hit the jackpot at two different houses. Emily left with a box full of clothes at one yard sale, while April have two paper bags stuffed with clothes from another yard sale! :)
Late the afternoon, we had Owen's birthday party with family and friends. He wanted a Transformers birthday party, with an Optimus Prime pinata. :) He had a blast playing with all his little buddies. His favorite part, besides opening his gifts, was the pinata!

They weren't able to make it home for Owen's party, but thanks to modern technology, we were able to Skype with them on Sunday. Katie had sent his gift earlier in the week, so Sunday we went to mom and dad's house to Skype with them, so they could watch him open his gift. (Yes, we have Skype, but we just haven't set it up yet. :))

Sunday, Sept. 18, my parents watched Easton, while we took Owen and Avari to Holiday World for the Toyota picnic. Owen and Avari loved being able to ride some of the bigger rides again, and were worn out by the time we left. Easton must have still been tired from Owen's birthday party because my parents' said that he slept most of the day...at least he wasn't any trouble for them. Haha
It was definitely a busy weekend, but it was also a lot of fun!
