Congratulations Katie...a Purdue Graduate!

It was another busy weekend for the Boeglin family. Friday night we went to Walmart, which I found out is not the place to go on a Friday, if you want to get in and out quickly. We ran into several people that we knew, and ended up getting home later than we wanted. It was nice to see people that we hadn't seen in awhile though. Saturday morning we left early to go to Purdue. Katie graduated Friday night, so we met her and my parents up there to celebrate, and move her home. Adam was also able to fly in for her graduation. After the little celebration, we went to the Purdue campus because Katie wanted to get some pictures there. After that we went back to the hotel and spent the evening hanging out there. Adam left after the pictures because he went to Indy to spent some time with his family before he had to fly out again. Sunday, we went to Katie's apartment and packed up her things. All four vehicles were stuffed full, but we were able to get everything loaded. Then we headed home, where we had to unpack all of her things. She will definitely have fun putting everything away....she has four years of stuff to go through:) We are proud of Katie and glad to have her home again. It was also nice seeing Adam again. Hopefully, he will be able to visit one more time before he gets deployed to Iraq.
For those of you that don't know....Katie has accepted a position at Kimball. Her boss from the internship that she did last summer really liked her and worked hard to get a job there. I'm not exactly sure what she will be doing, but I know that it deals with marketing (what she went to school for). I also know that she will be working with the interns. Welcome to the real world Kate!
Below are pictures from the weekend.

Owen & Adi really liked Katie's cake...as you can see:)

All the celebrating must have worn Avari out :)

Katie and Adam

Em, Kate, and me
for those of you that still can't tell us apart;)

We couldn't take pictures of Katie with all her nieces and nepew becaue Owen and Addison wouldn't cooperate. They were having to much fun running around and checking everything out, so we had to take pictures separately. Avari slept through everything.

FUTURE BOILERMAKERS!
Owen told us that he was going to Purdue when he get bigger, but is too little right now. Then he went on to tell me and Alvin that we couldn't go to Purdue because we were too old :)
