Busy Weekend

We had a busy, but fun weekend. On Friday, Avari got to meet her Aunt Katie for the first time. She was home with her boyfriend, Adam, for Spring Break, so we all got together at Emily and Adam's house. Owen and Adi had a blast playing together. Saturday, we had our cousin's son, Aden's, 2nd birthday party. It was a lot of fun seeing eveyone. Owen also had fun playing with all the other cousins. It was also the first time that most of mom's family met Avari, so she got a lot of attention. Sunday, we visited with Alvin's parents after church. Danny, Nettie, and Lance were also there, so we got to visit with them too. Owen had fun playing outside on the tractors, and seeing all the animals. Sunday evening, we went to my parents' house. We ate supper and visited with Katie and Adam before they left again. They are spending a few days in Tennessee. Then they are heading to Alabama to visit Adam's family for a few days. Owen and Addison enjoyed playing outside. They also got to meet our neighbor's new pony. They were a little unsure about it at first, but eventually got brave enough to pet it. Owen also had fun playing with Katie. When we got home, he told us that he misses Katie already. She has a lot going on with college and work, so she isn't able to come home very often. Owen always looks forward to seeing her. It was also nice to see Adam again. He is in the Air Force, and stationed in West Virginia, so we don't get to see him very often either. All in all, it was a very fun weekend.
