Adults' Night Out!

This weekend included a t-ball game, an adults night out, a little baseball practice.

Friday afternoon, I cleaned out the Trailblazer.  Since we were going to be taking it for our adults' night out on Saturday, I had to take all the car seats out, so I decided to clean the inside, since it was car seat free.  When Alvin got home from work, he decided to wash it.  Of course that meant he had three very willing little helpers!  Haha  While they washed the Trailblazer, I decided to clean the inside of the Tundra too.

Saturday morning, Avari had her first T-ball game.  She did really well, and said that she had fun.  After her game, the kids played at the park for a little while, before we made a quick trip to Jasper.

Saturday evening, we dropped the kids off at my parents' house.  They were watching our kids, and the Schipp girls, while we went out with friends to celebrate April's 30th birthday party.  Her birthday was in March, but this was the first weekend that worked for the majority of us.  We had originally planned to go to Louisville, but found out it was Thunder Over the Ohio weekend....THANK YOU Barbara!  We decided to go to Bloomington, instead.  We ate at a place called Nick's, and then headed to a few bars.  It was a lot of fun!  The kids had fun too.  They played outside and watched movies.  They even got to make their own little pizzas for supper, which they really liked.

Sunday, we went to church, and Avari went to her last Sunday school class.  After church, we got something to eat, and then went to Alvin's parents' house.  He had to throw down hay, and help his dad with a few things.  His mom was planting potatoes, so the kids helped her with that, for a little while.  Then they got tired of doing it, so I helped her finish.

Late Sunday afternoon, we went to my parents' house.  We had originally planned on going to the park with the Schipps, so that Owen and Adi could practice hitting off the pitching machine, but the fields were being used by other teams.  We decided to just use the pitching machine that the got for Christmas.  Mom and dad have a bigger back yard, so we went there.  By the time we quit, Owen was getting good at hitting off the machine.  Avari practiced hitting off the tee, and is getting better at it.  Easton had to practice hitting off the tee too, and he was actually pretty good at it.  It was a great way to end the weekend.
