Monday evening, I took Owen and Avari to the Dubois County 4-H Fair. We met Emily, April, and their kids there. My parents watched Easton because I thought it was WAY too hot to take him. Owen and Avari had a lot of fun looking at all the animals, and even some of the projects. Owen loved the little farm displays! He had to walk around the whole table checking them out! They even got to ride some rides before we left.
Tuesday morning, Emily took Owen and Addison to the Park and Rec. program at the Ferdinand park, while I watched Kenley. Owen said that they made door hangers, and had a scavenger hunt, and relay races. That afternoon, Emily and I took the kids to the Music Storytelling at the Ferdinand Library. Lindsey and the kids also met us there. It was a cute show, and the kids seemed to really enjoy it.
Wednesday morning, my cousin, Tonya, and her two kids came over. They live in Illinois, were in town this week visiting because her husband, Derek, had to come here for business. She is getting into photography, and asked if she could practice on my kids. If you remember my post about Avari's 2-year pictures, you will know that she was taking on quite a challenge with her. Luckily, they all did great (even Avari), and we were able to get some really cute pictures. Tonya did a great job, and all the pictures are really good! It was also a good excuse to get together and catch up! :) The kids also had a lot of fun playing together.
Saturday morning, Avari, Easton, and I went with Emily, Adi, and mom to Walmart. Owen wanted to stay with my dad. That evening, we went to Robyn and Kregg's house (Robyn is Alvin's cousin). They finally got a grill with the money from their wedding party, and wanted us to come over for a grill-out. Kevin, Kristin, and the kids were also invited. Owen and Avari had a lot of fun playing with Kennedy and Kaden. It was nice getting together with Robyn and Kregg.
Sunday, after church, we went to Denny's with my family, to celebrate Adam's birthday. He turned the big 30 on Saturday. Afterwards, we came home, so that the kids could take naps. That evening we went to my parents' house for supper with them and the Schipps. Emily and the girls made cupcakes for Adam's birthday, so we enjoyed those after supper.
Easton got his first official bath on July 19.
He didn't know what to think at first, and he screamed and cried, but by the end of his bath, he seemed to be enjoying it.
Owen likes to help feed Easton.

Avari saw Owen feeding Easton, so she wanted to help.
I'm trying to catch up on my posting, so feel free to check out two more posts below.
