Happy Birthday Adi Rose! / 38 Weeks!!!

This past weekend we celebrated Addison's 4th birthday, went to a parade, and finally set up our pool.

Saturday afternoon, we went to Emily and Adam's house to celebrate Addison's Rapunzel themed 4th birthday!  It's so hard to believe that she is 4 years old already!!  She seemed to have a lot of fun celebrating with her family and friends!  She also loved opening all her presents!  Owen and Avari had a lot of fun playing with all their little buddies!

Sunday afternoon, we went to the St. Meinrad Sesquicentennial Parade.  It was hot, but the kids had a lot of fun picking up candy.  It was a really nice parade.  After the parade, the kids took naps, while Alvin leveled out a spot for our pool.  Mom and I went to Evansville to get a gift for my cousin's baby shower.  When we got home, Alvin and the kids were at my parents' house.  We stayed and visited for awhile before going home.  Once we got home, Owen and Avari told Alvin that they wanted to helped him set up the pool.  Alvin wasn't planning on setting it up any more that night, but did since the kids wanted him too. :)  Of course once they got it set up, it had to be filled with water!  And since it was being filled with water, the kids HAD to play in it!  They started off with their clothes off, but ended up playing in it butt naked!!  Avari fell down and got her clothes wet so she wanted them off, which of course meant that Owen needed his off too!  They had a lot of fun, and didn't want to get out, when we made them!

BABY UPDATE
Friday, I reached 38 weeks, and also had another doctor's appointment.  Dr. Beckman checked me this week, and said I was a tight 1cm dilated, and that the baby had moved a little farther down since last time.  He also measured me and checked the baby's heart rate.  I'm both excited and nervous about only having 2 weeks left!!  I really hope that the baby decides to stay put for at least another week because Dr. Beckman will be out of town all next week, and I still have a few things to get and pack before the baby comes!
