Friday night, the kids and I went to the Schipps' house for pizza. My parents and Katie also came in. Owen and Avari had a lot of playing with Addison and Kenley...even though they had seen each other all day long.
Saturday, mom, Katie, Emily, Kenley, Avari, and I went to Evansville for some much needed clothes shopping...for me, not the kids...that never happens (the kids did get some though). :) Owen spent the morning with Pappaw Ed, the afternoon with daddy, and the evening with Pappaw Ed again. Alvin has to work every other Saturday until the end of the year, so he ha to leave before we got back. Owen told me that pappaw took him to Hopf Equipment to sit on tractors, and then they took the backroads home to look for combines, and tractors in the fields. When daddy got him, they took a 4-wheeler ride up the rode to watch a combine. Needless to say, he had a very fun day! Avari also did very good while we were shopping, and it was a pretty successful trip.
Sunday afternoon, I took the kids to kids a baby shower for one of Alvin's cousins. Afterwards, we went to Nick and Lindsey Healy's house (Jillian's house...as Owen says), for a belated Halloween party. Since it was so nice outside, the kids wanted to play in the yard. Owen, Addison, Jillian, and Gavin had a blast playing in the huge pile of leaves in the yard. It was a really nice party, and the kids really enjoyed playing together.

Avari has been working on teeth for awhile now, and it seems like she always gets two at a time. She usually doesn't make anything of them, but this week she has been fussy, and wants to be held, and cuddled (which never happens)! I checked her gums, and she has four teeth coming through...that will make a total of eight teeth!!! Today, she was so tired, but didn't want to lay in her bed. Since Owen, and Adi were taking naps in there too, I finally put her in the baby swing (after about an hour of trying to put her in her bed), to see if she would fall asleep in there.

less than 5 minutes later! :)
