We had another weekend filled with a baby shower and a birthday party. It was really nice to have great weather to go with the parties.
Friday night Katie helped Owen and Katie make paper plate masks. They had a lot of fun making them. Owen made a monster mask that he enjoying playing with.
Saturday afternoon, the kids and I went to my friend, Stacey Hewitt's, baby shower. Her and her husband, Ben, are having a baby girl in December, so they got a bunch of really cute girlie things. Emily and Shalyn also came with their kids. Owen had a lot of fun playing with Colin, Addison, Landon (Stacey's sone) and the other kids that were there. Avari and Norah had fun playing (or chewing) on each other's toys.

After the shower, we picked Alvin up, and went to Gavin Jones's 2nd birthday party. Owen was very excited to get to play with Gavin, Aden, and Addison. They also enjoyed playing with all of Gavin's new toys. Avari and Chase even got to play together for a little while.

Gavin had a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party, so the kids got a favor bag that included mouse ears. Janelle and I were surprised at how long these two kept their ears on. We don't think that they even knew they were on their heads.
Sunday, after church, we went to Ponderosa with my parents, Katie, and the Schipps. When we got home the kids took naps, while Alvin mowed the yard, one last time, and I straightened up the house. Then we went to my parents house for a little while.
BLOG HELP: If anybody reading this (rather I know you or not) knows how to get my blog to update on other people's blog could you please let me know. It doesn't seem to be updating on other people's blog list. Also, if you know why some people's blogs aren't updating on my blog list, and how to fix it, could you let me know. Thank you!
