Easton is now 17 months old! He is learning so much every day, and causing trouble right along with it! Haha He is definitely more mischievous than Owen and Avari were at this age, so he keeps us on our toes! He can now point to all of his main body parts (when he wants to). He is talking more and more. Some new words (that I can think of off the top of my head) are "milk", "water", "Adi", "Carter", "bubble", "cow", and "tractor". He continues to show interest in the potty, but has yet to actually go on it. He does want to sit on it every time someone else has to use it though, and has even stood up by the toilet, after seeing Owen do it. Every time he stands by the toilet he says "psssssss" to sound like he's peeing....silly kid!! His personality is really starting to show, and he definitely lets us know when he doesn't want something, and when he REALLY wants something. He likes to help me do things and is becoming more and more independent. He likes to feed himself, and tries to put his shoes on by himself. He also likes to try and do whatever Owen, Avari, or any of the babysitting kids do, so there are many arguments and fights around here because Easton will not back down, even though everyone else is bigger than him! :)
Below are some pictures of him from the past month.
I'm 17 months old!!
My Little Helper
I washed off the little table, so Easton grabbed the towel and started drying it off. :)
Using a toy to climb onto the toybox.
He likes to sit in Avari's baby doll pack-n-play.
He also likes to feed the baby dolls.
Also, on Dec. 1, Owen lost his FIRST baby tooth!!! It fell out while he was brushing his teeth. Luckily we saw it on his chin, so it didn't end up going down the drain. Also, a plus, it didn't hurt at all when it fell out! He was SO excited about it finally falling out, and couldn't wait to put it in the tooth pillow that Aunt Katie gave him! Oh, and FYI to all parents reading this....apparently tooth prices have gone up since we were little because I've heard that the going rate is now $5 for the first tooth and $1 for every tooth after that! Owen was super excited to find out what the tooth fairy left in the next morning! I can't believe he is starting to get permanent teeth already!! My baby boy is growing up WAY too fast!!
