The first Saturday of January, Alvin had to work, so the kids and I spent the evening at my parents' house with them and the Schipps. We ate supper and watched the Colts game.
Avari thought it was funny to use this part of the baby bottles as glasses. :)
The second Saturday of January, Alvin spent the evening at home with the kids, while I went out for my friend, Mary's, birthday with Emily and Shalyn. We ate at the Mill House and then went to Yaggi's for a little while. We haven't seen Mary or some of our other friends in awhile, so it was nice the we were able to get together. Alvin and the kids had fun too. They rented two movies, picked up food, and went home. Besides watching the movies, they also did a lot of playing. Owen had a list of things that he wanted to do with daddy, and I think they managed to do them all!

Avari thought it would be a good idea to use the dry erase crayons for her easel on herself. She was having fun until she got caught, then all of a sudden, she didn't like it anymore and wanted it off her face and hands right away!
Last Saturday evening, we had Jillian's 4th birthday party. All the kids had a lot of fun playing together at her Princess-themed party! I'm pretty sure the adults had fun too. It's hard to believe how fast all of our kids are growing up, but it's great that they are growing up together. It's even better that they all get along so well, and always have fun playing together.
Saturday morning, Owen helped papaw put some shelves together for mamaw.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY PRINCESS JILLIAN!!
Sunday, we went out for lunch with the Schipps. Afterwards, we went to Alvin's parents' house for a little while. That evening we went to my parents' house for supper. The Schipps also came out, so the kids got to play together again.
Baby Update
So, apparently I'm not suppose to have a baby doctor appointment during the winter because it has snowed the day before or the day of my last two appointments. My original appointment in January got cancelled and had to be rescheduled for the following week because of the snow. I had an appointment last Thursday, and as we all know, it snowed a lot that day again! Luckily, my appointment didn't get cancelled, but it was a crappy drive over and back. My next appointment is Feb. 10, so be expecting a lot of snow on or around that date! haha
As for my appointment, it went well. Dr. Beckman said that everything looked/sounded great. I have my 20-week appointment next month. It's hard to believe that I'm almost halfway through this pregnancy already! It will be nice to actually get to see the baby again at my next appointment.
