Rainy Days / 1st Major Scratch / 5 Years Already!

Sorry, I haven't posted lately, but not much has been going on over the weekends.  They have mainly consisted of us trying to stay dry. :)  Two Sundays ago, I did take Owen on his first shopping trip with the girls.  He needed Spring/Summer clothes, and since some he wears some 3T and some 4T clothes he had to come along to try things on.  He is just like most boys, and does not like to shop!  haha  He started asking if we were done after trying on about two shirts!  He made is through and ended up with some new clothes though.  After shopping, we went to Chuck E Cheese, which made his day!

Last Saturday, after the storms were over, the kids went outside to play in the mud puddles.
Avari loves riding in the wagon of Owen's pedal tractor.  It's to the point where if she sees the wagon, she tries to sit in it.  If it's not attached to the tractor, she tries to drag it to the tractor, just so she can have the ride. :)   Luckily, Owen doesn't mind driving her around...most of the time anyways.
Thursday, Avari got her first major boo-boo.  She fell head first onto the sidewalk.  She either tripped over her own feet, or in the crack in the sidewalk, not quite sure.  Luckily, she didn't cry for too long.

This past Friday was our 5 year anniversary!  We were planning on going out to eat, but since it was nice outside and Adam W. was home, we decided to get together with the rest of the family.  We figured that since it was suppose to rain the rest of the weekend we would let the kids play outside Friday and go out to eat Saturday or Sunday.  Since it rained Friday night and Saturday morning, Owen's t-bal game was cancelled again.  That evening the Schipps, the Jones, and the K. Boeglins came over.  The kids all had a lot of fun plaing together.  Sunday, after church, us and the kids went to Ryan's Steakhouse, in Corydon, for our anniversary.  When we got back, we stopped by Alvin's parents' house.  After that, we went to my parents' house for supper.  Katie wanted us all to come over, so that her and Adam could share their good news with us!
