Happy belated Easter!! We had a great Easter weekend! Friday morning, Emily and I went to the Ireland yardsales. In the afternoon, Alvin, the kids, and I went to Kevin and Kristin's house. Alvin and Owen helped Kevin haul firewood, while the girls played inside. Owen has a ton of fun helping daddy and Uncle Kevin. He asked every day when we were going over there, and even had the shirt he wanted to wear picked out about two days before. :)
Saturday, we hung out at the house during the day. In the evening, we went to my parents' house, so that Owen could get his hair cut before Easter.
Sunday, when we came home from church, the Easter Bunny had come to our house. Owen was so excited and couldn't wait to hunt for eggs! Most of them were plastic eggs, so every time he found one he had to open it and see what was inside before he would hunt for another one. Avari really didn't have much interest in it this year. She liked to pick them up, but you basically had to show her where they were, and sometimes even take her to them. I'm sure she will be fighting Owen for them next year!
After the our egg hunt, we went to Alvin's parents' house for Easter dinner. We went to my parents' house for Easter supper. The kids had fun hunting eggs, and playing with their cousins outside, at both places. It was a great Easter, and you could not have asked for a more beautiful day!!
