Louisville Zoo / Birthday Party

We had a very fun-filled weekend. Saturday morning, us, mom, Katie, the Schipps, the Joneses, Margie & Steve, Robby & Aden, Lindsey & Jillian, Deb & Joe, and Barbara & Aubrey went to the Louisville Zoo. We spent most of the day there, and everyone had a great time. Owen and Avari loved looking at all the animals. Owen was even going to feed a giraffe, but the giraffe wasn't being good, so they had to stop...right when him, Gavin, and Adi were at the front of the line. All the kids did very well, and most were asleep by the time we left the parking lot. :) After the zoo, we were going to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese, but since people were lined out the door, we changed our minds. Instead, we went to a place called Puzzles Fun Dome. The kids loved it. They had inflatable jumping toys, a big inflatable slide, a toddler area with tunnels, and games. The kids had a blast playing, and didn't want to leave when it was time to go home. I think that we will be going back again.

Sunday, we went to my Uncle Steve's surprise birthday party. Margie didn't have a party for his 50th birthday, so she decided to really surprise him and throw a 50 (plus 1) party....I think that he was surprised. It was a lot of fun. Owen had fun playing with Addison, Gavin, Aden, and Jillian again, Alvin had fun playing volleyball, and Avari enjoyed all the attention that she got. :)

Carousel Ride...This was Avari's first carousel ride, and she seemed to really like it.
